19/10/05 Briton Tugs for Fifth Place in Europe

National Championship winners, the Bedford Ladies Tug of War Team, retire at the end of the season winning 5th position in the European Championships, held in Bologna, Italy, last month.

The ladies will be taking a break now until March when the season begins again next year. They will be aiming to gain their place representing England in next years World Championships that will take place in September 2006.
