01/01/05 New Year - New briton

After 25 years of success in the electronics industry, Briton Electronics will now be known as Briton EMS Ltd. The initials EMS stand for Electronic Manufacturing Services, representing the company's capabilities and giving Briton a fresh image for 2005.

Commercial director Tony Abri states; "We have worked very hard over the years to broaden our services so that 'electronics' is only part of what we do. Our focus is very much on offering a complete manufacturing service including mechanical and electromechanical build.

2004 brought Briton a year of celebration, with the proud achievement of BSI Kitemark certification for its manufacturing services, as well as being named company of the year at the Bedfordshire and Luton Business Excellence Awards.

Briton EMS offers printed circuit assembly, through to whole product build, providing surface mount as well as conventional through-hole assembly. With in-house design engineering, procurement, test, inspection and dispatching facilities, we ensure that each assembly is completed to the same high quality specification to suit each individual customers need.
